All’s fair in love and war, or is it? One of Shaw’s
frequently performed classic comedies, it crackles
with his wit and charm as it illuminates the humour
of both heroic and romantic ideals turned on their
heads. Though satirizing Victorian mores and
hypocrisy it avoids sermonizing and is still
relevant today.
